Brendan Rodgers confirmed the artistic director of Liverpool Football Club that Mario Balotelli did not join the club in order to compensate for the departure of Luis Suarez for FC Barcelona.

Brendan Rodgers said to the media, saying: "Everything will be on the boy, the most important thing for me is his work rate games, it works very well."

He added: "Everybody sees that he came to substitute Luis Suarez, and I've said earlier, Suarez, a player does not make up, it's a global talent, it's not all demands by Mario Balotelli."

And ended by saying: "It's a wonderful boy, I enjoy working with him, and wants to become the best, it's a different player for Luis Suarez."

It is noteworthy that Liverpool may raise the tally to 13 points in fifth place, after winning the club Queens Park Rangers, 3-2, in a game that brought the two teams within the eighth round of the Premier League championship.
